The recommended VPN client from Linksys/Cisco is garbage, but I have had good success with the ShrewSoft VPN client. I will also note that I have used the little brother to this device, the RV042, in a few locations, but prefer the RV082 for a few reasons: it is rackmountable, and the built in power supply give me more confidence than the wall
